Photos : Red Bull Culture Clash (MCR)

Red Bull brought the famous Clash to Manchester and it was a madness! Four crews fought to take home the prestigous trophy in an impressive battle of dubplates, heavy bass, comedy and airhorns but it was the Levelz crew who left the Old Granada Studios victorious.

Surprisingly Dub Smugglers didn't manage to bag a round despite staying true to their

soundsystem culture and proving strong competition. Armed with special guests such as Soom T, reggae legend Top Cat and General Levy and playing impressive dubplates and refixes including a dancehall influenced Voodoo Ray aimed at the A Guy Called Gerald presents Basstronic stage.

The real tension was between Made in Manchester and the Levelz stage. The D&B supercrew Made in MCR took the explosive first round going in hard with MC Trigga and Tonn Piper. A few comments were made by Levelz lot about how "that would have been sick in the 90s" which caused Made in MCR to hit back and claim their status as veterans.

"If there wasn't an us there wouldn't be a you"
