Since premiering earlier this week on Noisey, check the full interview here, Sleazy F's new video has had the scene on edge patiently waiting for the album release of the same name to drop on the 1st of July.
Since the release of the debut video 'From the Bits', Sleazy has been steadily grafting and building on the album. The 'All Blahk Tracksuit' instrumental, produced by fellow Blah boys Lee Scott and Reklews, hits hard and captures a restless energy whilst remaining eery and dark.
The video, directed by Aboveground, shows Sleazy exercising his right to party as he makes his way through a couple bottles of Hennessy, cooks up a storm, hangs out of a 4x4 and plays with fire and flares. It's music for the jilted generation, with the opening sample making reference to the 2011 riots and a police call-out to Wythenshawe, which (fun fact) is considered as the now second largest council estate in Europe.
Here at Bloc2Bloc we got the hook-up for the full LP and all we can tell you is..... it's the shit. Featuring Black Josh on tracks like 'GANG GVNG' amongst others, the album as a project feels co-hesive and tight as it combines elements of Trap music, Boom-Bap and gangsta rap, yet with Sleazys lyrics and references feels every bit British. It will appeal to both the grime heads, who want some kick and aggression in their tracks, as well as the Hip Hop crew with certain tracks reminiscent to the glory days of the 90s.
With bars for weeks and flows for months it proves an interesting, if not sometimes filthy, and musical listen. Make sure you check out Sleazy's videos and cop The 'All Blahk Tracksuit' Album, you don't wanna sleep on this one.
